The Goyard Wish Machine

Maison Goyard is pleased to present “The Goyard Wish Machine”. Drawing inspiration from the complex fantasy machines imagined by American cartoonist Rube Goldberg, the short film pays a playful tribute to the enduring skills of the artisans working in the Goyard special order workshops, who have made the wildest wishes of customers come true since 1853.


(1) The timekeeper pulls the string, and causes the mallet to swing (3) and hit the earth, which in turn (4) knocks the bust down, which in turn opens the birdcage (6) and releases the bird (7), which flies back to its nest (8). Its weight causes the wheel to turn (9) lit the match (10) and ignite the fireworks (11) The star takes off like a rocket (12) Watch out for the shooting star (13) and make a wish!

La Maison Goyard a le plaisir de présenter "La Machine à Voeux", une vidéo inspirée par les machines imaginaires jaillies de l'imagination du dessinateur américain Rube Goldberg. Fidèle à la veine surréaliste et humoristique chère à Goyard, elle rend hommage au talent des artisans de l'atelier Commandes Spéciales qui exaucent depuis 1853 les voeux des clients de la Maison.
